Ok backstory, I live up in the mountains where it snows, we have very crazy curvy roads, and it would always snow either right before my appointments or it would snow the day I was supposed to go down to the doctor appointments. The city I delivered in never gets snow so people don't even think about how unsafe it is to travel on icy roads.... So anyway I would call them to tell them the weather sucked and they still told me that if I didn't show up CPS would be notified... So I travelled in unsafe weather. It was for ROP appointments. Did you ever have to go to those? I mean, I Understand every doctor appointment is important, but it's not like I was saying I didn't want to take him because I was tired, and it's not like it was a matter of life or death like if he had a heart or respiratory condition, it was to check his eyes, and they made me go to these appointments like 4 times. It was complete bs.
@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, ur kidding me that's crazy dr tell u don't go out for 3 months then they have u dragging them to all kinds of places
I had a nurse tell me she would call CPS on me if I didn't go to them. I live 2 hours away from where I delivered and I would have to go rain, snow, or shine to all of these doctor appointments. Some of them were scheduled on different days so I would have to drive 2 hours there, 2 hours home, and then do it all over again the next day. It was insane.
@mimiz, he had 2 this week & a home visit from his case worker just to check things out its so much & he gets clipped tomorrow too it's like I'm never home now
I have to make that appointment bc it's an hour away lol @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom & I would b mad I lived in a place like that ppl need to understand that weather is crazy & @mimiz really we just went to every 2 weeks now he's only 5 weeks now
