my baby had this problem the other day. I was worried after like 1 day without poop but I just kept nursing him as often as I could and made his legs move like he was riding a bike and that helps move their tummy and intestines so it can work out. this morning he finally had 3 huge poops all back to back and he seems so relieved

If you want your baby to poop cause u think it's causing tummy aches, you can use the thermometer that comes with most of the grooming kits or a q-tip with a little Vaseline on it and gently insert it in babies anus. Not too far, so be super careful not to hurt your little one. Maybe like half and inch. And then slightly wiggle or rotate it and it'll cause baby to have a bowel movement. I've done it with both my kids and they did it in the hospital with my second cause he still had some of the first tar like stool in there. But like I said, super careful. And hold the diaper in place, that stuff can shoot out

It's normal for breastfed babies to go 5 days without a poo. Is baby able to fart?
