at how many weeks do they start doing vaginal checks? My MIL is wanting to go to every appointment I just don't feel comfortable when that starts having her around.

@jackscatss, I was thinking of stopping by the office to ask what they were going to do on my appt, since I have an ultrasound on Friday
My MIL is the same way -.- ask your dr tho some don't check you unless you have start having too many contractions

Around 34-36 weeks they Swab you for GBS & then around 36-38 weeks they will check you for dilation. All depends on your doctor tho
They won't be checking at all for me unless something comes up, ask your doctor
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.

My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
