Maternity pay! So pleased I looked in to this! I was paid my first month maternity but it was based on my old wage. Just before I went on maternity I was given a pay rise! The accounts have been arguing with me that the maternity pay should be based on my old pay but after a lot of research and finding new legislation I was correct and they have had to agree to pay on my new wage! A little worrying that I found this out before the accountants hey! Anyway, so pleased because it's a fair bit of difference and with my baby due next week (induction) I really need the extra money! X never back down ladies! 😊
