Ugh. RANT. Our baby's fever yI fell asleep in the living room because my MIL was in my bed. My husband made his way to our room and fell asleep on the floor, but apparently Joshua was a little chilly so he turned off the AC... and turned on the heater.

I wake up three hours later and walk into a bedroom that is 78 degrees. Joshua is sleeping in the swing wrapped up in a light blanket AND a fleece blanket. I know that 78 is too hot for me and him so I turn on the AC and turn the heater off. Hubby wakes up and starts an argument about the AC being in while Joshua is in the swing even though the AC doesn't blow on the swing. He says it didn't feel warm at all so the AC needed to stay off. I bite my tongue and get out the baby thermometer while I'm nursing and hubby goes back to sleep.

Big surprise, auxiliary temp is 99. Supposed to go to the ER if 99.3. Joshua's normal is around 98. Stripped his clothes off and removed my shirt for some skin to skin. By the end of the nursing session, it's down to 98.5 but it's still frustrating. Next time you say it doesn't feel warm (because your body got used to it and your ideal is 75 instead of 70), take his freaking temperature first.
