Its so annoying that my mom thinks i
should be giving food to my 5 month old baby like if its necessary. I wanted to wait before she turns 1 but my mom thinks my baby NEEDS to eat solids. She doesnt understand its not NECESSARY OR NEEDED 😤☹️ My baby is EBF and my milk is all she needs 😇
@jgarciamua, He wont write on the walls, hes scared to haha. But playdoh, he smashes everywhere, and I mean everywhere. In the tile grout, in the closet hidge, oh he hit it hard haha. Playdoh is my parents cryptonite hahaha
Yea if they really need it because of their weight or like your situation then i guess its ok 🙂 @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom
@jgarciamua, See thats what I want. Im ok if he decides later on that he wants to try it, and likes it, but soda is not necessary in anyway. My parents just have a thing for going against my parenting wishes, but I always get back lol. My little bro is 2, and when they gave my son juice and powerade behind my back, I bought my bro playdoh hahaha. They havent tried it since, but they joke about it
i know were your coming from. my little man is only three months and my mom is suggesting that i start him on baby cereal. im like he doesn't need it he is just fine on my breast milk. he is 15lb and 24 inches at 13weeks. so i think he is just fine.
I think there are some exceptions (my son included... #preemieproblems) but I agree that for healthy, term babies will be fine on just breastmilk. Food under one is just for fun. My itty bitty hit a roadblock in weight gain and I really didn't want to do formula, and then he started showing signs of being anemic so we introduced foods. He loves oatmeal cereal, but he's still a total boob baby.
Thats true! Omg i would die!! My mom actually never let me drink soda i started drinking it when i was a teen. @rachel8792
Awee, hey at least its fruit... my parents have been dying to give my son soda, and I refuse to give my son anything other than water or milk. They have already snuck apple juice, and powerade in, but thank goodness he didnt like it.
@rachel8792, well since my mom gives her a little taste of fruit i have no other choice. 😑
I know!!! I might give my baby little tastes of food bc i know she will want to taste it but to feed her every day NOPE @jadasmommy_
I've seen babies that are EBF until one and are chunky and healthy! Idk why people get so anxious to stick food in their mouths. Like you said it's just for fun.
Dang, I didnt know this. I breastfed my son for 14 months, but he started solids at 6 months, and very eager too. What will you do when your baby starts reaching for foods or cries for it? I only ask because girl, believe me once they are mobile, they want anything and everything in their mouth haha
Its recommended to start but its not necessary because solids before one its just for fun 😬 breastmilk has all the good stuff 😁 @rachel8792
you want to wait a whole year before giving any solids? I thought 6 months was what is recommended for EBF or even formula fed babies?
I don't think she gets it.
I swear sometimes I just need to renew my policy to not look at the comments in Facebook. I never used to. I don't know why I started. But the ignorance is real.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
so my mom was telling me I should give my son baby cereal at night because at night is when he wants to eat the most. I haven't done it yet but who thinks its okay I was thinking doing it when he's two months!??
I think this will be my LAST baby. My boyfriend is up there in age 🤷🏽♀️
do u mommy's think a crib bumper is necessary for a newborn
i know theres a debate in whether children need them in cribs at all
but i mean come on i dont think an infant is going to get their hands or feet caught in the bars
i want to buy one but i dont know if its necessary
I started my son son solids when he was 3 months. He was breast fed for 2 years never took formula. He never seemed to be full so I talked to his dr and she said it was ok. He was a big baby and always was hungry plus he had acid reflux and threw up puddles after every meal
