I got my daughter a Ellie the elephant paci holder from Walmart and it's basically a stuffed animal that you connect the paci too. She holds it so much better now!

Like this but it's an elephant but they come in all different kinds of animals (:

My daughter has a wubbanub. Which is kinda like what above poster has. But is the paci too big? Maybe too heavy for him to keep in his mouth?

maybe try a different smaller paci?? Raine had trouble keeping the soothies in her mouth but she LOVES her mam paci

@santistevanmommie, @jessie1394 @littlemissrainesmommy I've tried three different kinds. So far the one he can keep is this one but even then he'll only use it for a little bit and it comes out and then he fusses

You might have to hold it for him for a little. He might not have it in him to suck hard enough to keep it in all the time.

Oh I was about to say maybe he just wants to comfort nurse.. that's what Raine does when she wants the real thing.. sorry I'm no help :/

Have you looked for a preemie sized paci? Maybe the sucky part thing is too big for him.

See this one has a small nipple part maybe that's why?
