Does anyone else feel like they hardly see there midwife second time round? I haven't seen her since 22 weeks and the…

I thought everyone had it in there book but there's a few women on here that don't probably different areas do things differently as long as your comfortable with how your seeing her then that's all that matters I'm glad i haven't seen her as much this time as iv had a lot of content opontments but if you need to see her you can always call @lauren1996 xx

@tresea, that's weird, all my appointments for my whole pregnancy have all been booked for already, it's strange and I haven't got taht in my book 0.0 xxx

I last saw my midwife at 16 weeks next time I see her will be 28 weeks. With my 1st I'm sure I saw her more than that

It is handy but I will definitely be booking in for the sweep at 40 weeks if babys not hear lol @linzi_duffie xx

Yh @linzi_duffie that's what mine does but I have to ring closer to the time as out gp surgery only books her opontments a week or to ahead xx

@lauren1996, that's it but got it wrong last time I seen her was 12 weeks next one will be 29 as she had none for this week and the 25 week one says for first time mums don't no if I'm being helpful or coming across as a no it all please tell me if I am lol xx

Yeah I have to make my own too but they always right in the book when we next see them. Like for example I seen the midwife at 22 weeks and she wrote "return at 28 weeks" x

I only have my hospital appointments in my book, @tresea and @tam77 I think I might have to chase her up, there's no problems but I didn't know if I had to see her or not?xxx

That's really weird I have a grid in mine for every few weeks and she's but a star by etch week that I need to see her @lauren1996 xx

@lauren1996, you should def of seen her at least once if not twice since your first appointment. id give them a call and chase them up xxxx

I've got nothing In my books, I've had appointments up hospital, but haven't seen my midwife @tresea xx

@lauren1996, you do no you have to make your one appointments it should be in the back of your book when you should be seeing her but you have to ring and book them yourself xx

Definitely I seen mine last around 18 weeks and I have an opontment next week I'll be 29 week and iv been under consultant so throat I would be seeing her more but when I asked they said there was no need xx

This is my first child, first time I saw my midwife was a booking in sort of thing and I was 8 weeks, and I STILL haven't seen her I am now 25 weeks pregnant? Xxx

I did wonder to begin with. I'm living in a different area so wondered if that was why but a few other mums were like no with your second of all else was fine last time they basically barely want to see you haha

Yeah I would also like a sweep at 40 weeks if baby isn't here by then! .. I think it just feels like I havnt seen the midwife much so it feels like forever till the next time, at least I know it's normal waiting a few weeks before seeing her again xx

I had my booking in at 11 weeks then 16 weeks then nothing until 28 weeks next ones at 34 xx

Oh I'll be calling & requesting a sweep if I haven't had baby past 40weeks! I guess maybe they assume with 2nd things happen quicker I don't know. I'm happy not having all the appointments felt like I had hundred, between hospital & midwife last time.

That's not so bad having hospital and scans in between. I know there nothing wrong with me or bat but just feel like seeing the midwife a bit more would keep me from worrying 😂x

this is number 4 for me and I've seen my midwife at 8 weeks 16 weeks 28 weeks and will see her at 35 weeks and 38 weeks maybe once more if i go over due. so not as often as id like really but she does always say to call if i need her

Last time I saw mine was 16 weeks and won't see her now till I'm 28 weeks but I've got lots of hospital and scan appointment in between

No sweep at 40 weeks either? Oh no! .. Omg 8 weeks and 28 weeks is such a long time! X

Unless you had complications in last pregnancy or in the current one you don't need to see her as much

You don't have as many appointments with your 2nd. I saw her at 36 weeks & she doesn't see me again till I'm 41.5 if I haven't had baby! I said don't I get offered a sweep at 40 she said nope not with your second! Lol
