I hate my mil she thinks it's wrong my 1 year old has "chores" her chores are closing the dryer door (she loves this), helping get silverware out of the dishwasher which she throws on the floor, and I have her "help" pick her toys up like 2 times a day. it's not much, most of the time it makes more work for me, but I want her to know what has to be done around the house. but she doesn't make her grandsons do ANYTHING, they basically live there and they are 3 and 6. like they don't even throw wrappers away! at our house they have to bring there dirty clothes to the washer that's it! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I'm so sick of her
that's actually great! my son is 4 and is just starting to do stuff, during his dirty clothes down to his hamper. pick up toys, throw stuff away, put his dishes in the sink. but my 1yr old is starting to pick up on what my oldest is doing so whenever we're picking up toys, he tries to pick them up too, and he knows where the garbage is to throw stuff away when I tell him. its better to start them young than when they're older and used to doing nothing.
I think it's a great idea that your having her help out and making it fun. She will grow up and have already learned that she needs to help out around the house. my daughter is 16 months and loves to help me with laundry (pull clothes out of the dryer) and she likes to help me put her toys away. I think it's great!
That would drive me crazy too! My 2 year old loves helping mop or feed the dog. I don't see no harm in teaching them that when their young. My kid loves it. Heck most kids know how To operate a phone or tablet but don't know anything about housework.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

so yes ima go hard in the comments bec...
Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!
Girl once my daughter is walking she is going to be doing chores, gotta teach them early! Of course she won't be a slave but kids can do chores that are for kids and will help them down the road, I don't plan on raising a girl that has to have someone do it all for her, she will clean and help out.
