I have a question, just a curiosity question. Please no negative comments or trash talk I'm just curious as to other mothers opinions on the matter...
I am 5 weeks pp of a first time C-section. A buddy of mine is having a cook out/pool party tomorrow and I REALLY wanna swim. 😣 especially since it's been 90+ degrees lately 😩😥 now I know they say wait 6 weeks and you shouldn't if your still bleeding heavy and blah blah etc. But when I went to my 2 week check up my doctor told me I was already healing up extremely well for a first time cesarean and my bleeding has stopped for about a week now. I have no problems or pain with my scar really, it seems completely healed to me. I'm just nervous about the possibility of maybe getting an infection or something due to the chlorine in the pool. I should be okay right? I mean I've heard of mom's that went swimming and took baths 2-3 weeks after their surgery and were just fine and I've been taking it real slow and easy as to not hurt or strain myself so I can heal properly. What do you guys think? I'm seriously contemplating whether I should or not cause I'd hate to be the only person at the party sitting on the sideline while everyone else is having a good time 😔
@mimiz, yeah I do that everytime I get out the shower as well just to make sure there's no openings or anything. I felt fine at 2 to 3 weeks too so I hope I'm okay.
Also I was glued, so there's no stitches or staples still in or need to be removed.
just take it easy. have fun and swim
Honestly I was fine 3 weeks after healed and doing everything normally as long as it isn't opened anywhere if say go for it but check with alcohol first to see if it bothers
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
