*Rant*
It feels like trying to get paid for babysitting is like pulling teeth. If it was the $20 we agreed on ($5 a kid per day) it'd be fine. But, she promised she'd pay me $100-$150 with me moving in my new place. Trying to get her to text back yesterday and today, is exhausting. I'm never going to babysit for her again. I enjoyed having her kids because they kept me active and everything, but if she's going to act like that, then she can find herself a new babysitter, I have way to much stuff to deal with right now, and not worry about money. I have my baby shower July 23rd, doctors appointments, and making sure my new house is ready for the baby as well as his room.

I would have made her pay at the beginning. Sorry you are going through that.

The first day I had her kids she paid me, then after that she said she had to wait to get her paycheck since she works at an auction every Friday, so I said that was fine. Then since Wednesday, she always said she was looking for a ride to come and pay me, that was her story every day until Sunday when she completely stoped texting me as well as today @bugmama

Sorry you had to go through that! I had that happen with two families this year both with kids I kept over 2 years. One family the parents were separated and the dad never paid on his weeks and she didn't care so I fired them, the other paid me after 2 weeks when she started because she had to pay her last sitter, she owes me for three days and owes my husband $250 for money she borrowed on his credit card at Christmas time for her 4 kids. She was my friend but when I had a house fire she found temporary accommodations that I guess turned permanent. Oh well you live and learn.

The first person that did this to me only owed me $10 which for babysitting her kid that was only gas money to get to and from her apartment. So I wasn't worried about that. But with this women promising me $100-$150 with me moving into my new place, to help with bills and she also said she'd get me a baby swing and bassinet for free as a baby shower gift. @angelao777

Yeah. And where I live nobody wants hire me anywhere because I'm already showing and I'm 30w, so I wanted to be able to do something to help my SO with bills and stuff like that. but with this happening I don't think I'll babysit for anyone I don't know @angelao777

Well if you ever visit VA and need some baby stuff let me know, I have done in home daycare for 10 and am down to my last two kids and don't plan on taking on any new ones myself until my baby is at least 2 so your welcome to anything I have :) I plan on just selling online the next couple years to supplement income, I'm done watching kids for a while, it's hard finding good clients and I don't want any added drama with a baby coming.
