Can someone help me please?

my nephew had bronculitus last week (he had it for 3 weeks prior) but it was coming to an end, and my sister needed me, so I sat with him for a hour and half, just cuddled up under a cover, and thought nothing of it

yesterday I felt like death, I didn't want to eat or anything, but I just put it down to pregnancy symptoms

then getting into bed last night it all struck me;

I've had an hour and half's sleep, I can't stop crying, I hurt everywhere, even my toes and fingers, I can't stop coughing, I'm almost sick with it, my throat feels like I've swallowed razor blades.. what can I do? and will this hurt my little boy? 😭😭😭😭

No it won't hurt you I was in hospital with my girl who had it when I was pregnant. Bronciolitis is caused by the RSV virus. Most of us have had it already or are immune and in adults it's minor. He may have another virus with it or it be a coincidence u are now I'll. Lots is going round. My girl had hand foot and mouth last week and I took her to the doctors now I'm ill with a bug. There are only a few viruses u need worry about while pregnant my doc told me. RSV makes babies so I'll because it affects there tiny airways and causes breathing issues and wheeze. In adults we have more robust immune systems and airways

no this is definitely an illness, I just don't know if it's just the Flu, which can be caused by it as bronculitus is a children's disease, it's very, very rare in adults (there is one similar you can get though) I just can't feel like this another night, I haven't slept, and I ache, and breathing hurts so much 😭 @natzie86 x

Bronchitis is an infection of the lower lung as I understood it when my baby had it. I doubt it will physically hurt your baby but if that's what it is you may need antibiotics to help clear it. Whilst they aren't recommended during pregnancy (nothing is to be fair) they can be taken. See your gp if you're not feeling any better and go from there. It may be unrelated and you may be just feeling a little run down. Hope you're ok
