I didn't have surgery my son did but basically they make sure you understand the procedure. tell you when to stop eating and what time to go in.

Mine didn't. I had mine on Friday and I'm not scheduled until Thursday for my c section. But I had blood work done the week before

Mine they just went over what to expect during the procedure. Things you need to know before surgery like when to stop eating/drinking for the day. Stuff like that
