This may be a silly question, but I bought Medela feeding set with breast pump bags and bottles. I don't have a Medela breast pump. Do I have to have that brand to use them or do any work?

Meaning, the medela bags will work fine. But I will say, I am not a fan of them... I've been a nanny for the past few years and worked daily with breast milk and I feel like the medela leaked easier. The lansinoh bags are the best ones I've used.

The bags, no... But I would double check the medela bottles and make sure they screw on to your breast pump just fine. If not, they may make an adapter. My tommee tippee bottles and bags(which have a lid unlike other bags) don't fit my medela pump but I found adapters for super cheap(like $4)

Looking to see if anyone knows the answer: My insurance company covers a breast pump, they said I can get the Medela Breast Pump In-Style. Does anyone know if it's just the pump they send you...no attachments, or do they send you the hoses & shields too?

Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
my free breast pump is on its way I'm so excited .. so glad that I didn't have to pay so much money for a breast pump

@jleightutt, I did see those at toys r us as well. I had a gift card and thought I'd make the most of it. I don't have a pump yet, I get one free through insurance, but they make you wait until baby is born to get it. I'll have to check into the lansinoh ones. Thank you so much!
