I don't think kids are super expensive. initially if you have to buy everything new it costs $ and diapers, wipes hygiene can add about 150/month but once they're out of diapers it's not too bad.

Well things like medical insurance all the necessities etc are what get you. There are ways to make it less expensive like not buying the most expensive things out there... Breastfeeding saves a ton! Really the only thing we had to buy were clothes and diapers. We bed shared. You can find in expensive things like a crib on mom for sale pages etc. so it goes both ways.

My son has a medical condition & a bunch of allergies. So he can't be breast fed & his medical formula is $50 a can, a small can. That doesn't include the other food, medicine or anything else he needs for his health condition. I think that's why babies are expensive is because you'll never know what's going to happen, when they will need something that you aren't used to having to pay & they need more as they get older.

no it does. also you are in every right to apply as much as anyone else. regardless of your situation. but I get what you mean. just don't want you to be unable , not saying you won't, to successfully breastfeed and then not have any formula if that were the case love. always better to be prepared

I'm a veteran we get wic but I still haven't applied I won't unless I'm in desperate need. I want other who need it more to have it. But if I have a time of financial issues I would go get it. If that makes sense.

i have a 3 year old and a new baby on the way my boyfriend is the only one with a job making about 400 a week somtimes less we live with my dad and i dont think its very expensive! we have about 1500 saved for when baby comes and stuff but idk you just dont get the freedom to go blow 200 a night anymore. just be smart with your money and its really not expensive

also i am good when it comes to money. great job... so I don't need help. of course if his grandparents want to buy him something or his family wants to buy him something that's different. but even having a good paying job I still think having a baby is an added expense (expensive) since you never had it before. I mean have you seen prices on cute baby clothes.. 😂

I really agree... I haven't bought anything yet but I have looked it will really be about a grand to buy everything I need for my son. Then diapers aren't even that bad and breast feeding well that's free lol

It is expensive because babies need a lot of things. Some women can't work all through pregnancy or have other children to take care of so a new baby is an added expense. Plus your mom helped you buy things which not everyone gets help from their parents while pregnant.
