Long Rant**** Anyone else have a mother or a mother in law that acts like they are better at parenting your kiddos then you or the babies dad!😠 always acting like they are the ones who taught them things first and saying things that you know didn't happen. I hate lie's and I hate that they think that they are better than I am!! It's not a damn competition and you'll never be more then a grandma to my kids😠 she's gone so far as to buy a new used bed and crib knowing I haven't even been able to find a good one she didn't even tell me about it so that I could have bought it and had a bed and crib for the baby! baby isn't even going to go over there for months and probably not even stay the night because there whole house reeks of smoke and pets! 😷😲 I hate when my daughter has to stay over there when me and her father are both working!😭😠 I'm more then likely going to become a full time stay at home mom when baby gets here in January! sorry for the rant!!😂😂😂

That's the best way. I'm a stay at home mom for now, if I work it'll only be a couple days a week. No one can take care of our kids the way we mommas do it. And sadly a lot of people do not respect our rules.
@karennn, they won't she used to stay maybe two or three days over there because I was working full time and didn't have anyone else that would be able to watch her I should've just become a full stay at home mom then but wasn't able to financially but now I only work maybe two days a week if that so she only goes there once a week sometimes when my husband and I both work and can't take care of her!😞 but my mom won't listen to anyone and plays the wounded bird over everything it pisses me off she acts like a child and I've just come to the conclusion she's never going to change that's why when this next baby arrives my husband is going to try and pick up more hours or overtime if he can and I'm going to be a full time stay at home mom that way I don't have to worry about it anymore!😉
@julianeeley21, I know your frustration. Mines do the same thing, they say my baby it's too skinny and over feed her and stuff. Maybe threatened for her not to ever have her if she doesn't follow your rules? My husband did that, I mean ever since I haven't had her over without me and my husband being there so Idk if they'll listen or not
they both make fun of my rules and decisions too I just don't talk to them anymore unless my mother is watching her on the one day we work!
@karennn, I usually just blow it off but it all builds up and I get pissed yeah my sister says she loves my daughter but has literally done nothing with her but get ice cream once since she's been born she's two now and has had a home daycare never offered to spend time with her or take her to parks or movies but can with all of these other people's kids!😠 And I've offered her multiple times so it's not that I've been denying her her time with her!😠😠 pisses me off!! and my mom acts as if Kammy is her kid and not mine and won't listen to me about my rules and what she can and cannot do with my daughter!!😠😠😠😠
You're not the only one, as much as I love my mom and sisters they piss me off too. They try to find things wrong with my daughter to try to "school" me about it. They know nothing about eczema as they never dealt with anyone who has it and they try to school me on it and say I don't treat my daughter's eczema right. They try telling me my daughter's piercings were dirty but when I looked they were perfectly clean, I freaking clean them 2 times a day. Mind you my two older sisters do not have kids nor had any experience with babies either as we were young when our cousins were babies and when I was a baby they were little girls. Ignore people like that, it's your kid not theirs.
yeah it's very frustrating but thankfully this time around I'm able to!! and that's awesome i wish I could've with my first but needed the incomes from both of us to survive bills and rent! and nope no one but us momma's know our babies!!
