I haven't dropped yet and my Dr gives me weekly ultrasounds to make sure the baby is still head down because she can't feel the head with her hands.. when I asked why she said it's no guarantee the baby will stay head down if she haven't dropped...

yes but they don't stay head down until you drop... and I heard a long time ago don't know how true but I heard that the weight of the baby's head keeps them down until they drop...

I hope not because if the baby dropped in the birth canal this soon he/she might be breached and might not turn around.. hopefully if baby did he/she is in position for birth but I think it might be too soon
