how do you take care of the baby's umbilical stump ? when it falls off what to do to clean it?

ik not to take it off I'm saying so just clean it with warm water once it does fall off ???n then said no alcohol it heals faster o. it's own @mommagotbump16 @valerie_jean

Don't take it off, just clean around it until it falls off on its own. Then if it's still kinda gooey in there, clean it with alcohol swabs until it dries up. If it looks like normal skin, you can start bathing baby like normal ☺

When it falls off and everything is completely off I washed him with baby wash.

It will fall off on its own, don't take it off. I just washed my son's belly with water until it did. No soaps, wipes, etc.
