I've been watching a prenatal class for free on YouTube, and it's been very helpful. It's best to watch it when you're at least 6 or 7 months pregnant. It teaches exercises you can do daily to ensure a faster labor, what will go on in your body during and after giving birth, as well as many other helpful pieces of information. The teacher is really entertaining and funny. She's a former midwife, and really seems to connect with her audience. Each part of the class is about 45 minutes long, but I've found that the length is helpful. I prefer to walk in place and do the exercises she teaches while I watch each video, since she says we should get about an hour of walking in every day. If you'd like to watch it, the first video is titled, "Prenatal Class - Part 1: Prenatal"

@hannahbbtt Id like to point out that I just realized today that it's only 3 parts. But either way I feel like it really helped. I'm gonna try to watch other prenatal classes every day instead, and keep doing my walking and place and exercises like I planned. I found a few that show different positions you can go into to relieve pain from contractions, and breathing techniques to do at the same time. Oh and I found a really great Ted talk on fear of childbirth, if you're struggling with the same thing. It was really reassuring. I definitely feel better now. Fear is just your worst enemy during labor and I'm trying my best to eliminate that.

Do you have to take child birth classes/prenatal classes to register at the hospital you want? Im going to Riverside Community Hospital. I wanted to take them but the thing is that my clinic gave me my registration packet for my hospital all late (suppose to give it to me at 6 months, just gave it to me I'm 2 weeks away) and the dates for the free classes had passed already for this month. I don't want to pay $60-$100 for a 2-4 hours class (still have baby stuff to buy) if it's not required to take. I did find a free online class with videos to take and I've been watching that. TIA! ☺
