I never really post but I'm going to post my preemie story cause having a baby in the Nicu is hard. It's hard to see your baby and can't hold or touch your baby until certain times. Or to watch your baby in the incubator because you are being told they need to stay in there to maintain their heat cause they can't do it on their own. It's hard to have to leave your baby day after day. I can't speak for anyone else but having to leave my baby everyday for 45 days was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life. I wished I could have went full term but God saw other wise and I delivered my daughter at 28 weeks and 1 day with her weighing 2lbs 9ozs natural cause they I was contracted so fast and they didn't want to give me any medication that would make her drowsy or anything. My water broke at 27 weeks and 6 days.. She was breathing on her own but needed a little oxygen just for pressure. I'm just blessed she don't have any medical conditions and is healthy as she can be. Some things are just not worth it in the end...
