that happened to me last year. my mom through a great baby shower. it was supposed to be small about 30 people were supposed to come but only 6 people came and didn't even bring gifts.. then someone showed up a hour before it ended and had a gift I already bought myself. So pissed and upset.

I'm excellent at being frugal, and it's a good thing because money is a bit tight for me right now.
