I wish I didn't have an insensitive self-centered dick for a father. With my first son I didn't tell him he was born until we got home (because I didn't want to deal with him), but at least he wanted to see him immediately. Texted him while we were in the hospital, and he doesn't respond til the next day. The only times he's texted he talks about how busy he is, and eventually asks about Lucas. He's 11 days old and has yet to even ask to come see him, let alone remember his full name. 😒 Sigh.

@kbrown91, damn straight! 😜 Sad part is my dad is such a liar that he has people convinced that he's a real grandfather, as in actually involved. I'd love to just cut him off, but I already have enough family that thinks I'm awful thanks to my MIL. So I'm stuck. He can dig himself deeper for now.

My dad is the same way! its insane, he spends so much money on his grandkids or so he says lol. they live in their own world. @mommagotbump16

@kbrown91, they do! It's so pathetic. I mean, he's got his own life, and he clearly doesn't actually care, so I have no idea why he bothers. I guess to preserve his image with people (also pathetic). Luckily, my mom rocks 😊

Both of my parents suck lol. my grandparents raised me. luckily it doesn't bother me, I learned it just not worth dwelling over. It just shows you what not to do with your own kiddos! @mommagotbump16
