So my mom can't come to the birth because she just got a job, my other mom hates babies and cannot even change diapers, and my best friend is going on a trip right before I'm due and probably can't come either. So it'll just be me and my boyfriend. 😔 Just kind of bummed.

Can your mom not request off for it now? I'm sure if she told them that her daughter was giving birth that they would understand & work something out.

I agree with @brit1335 if she asks of now they should understand. my mom had to do the same so she could watch my daughter for when I have my son. that does suck but when it comes down to it, You probably won't want anyone in there but your boyfriend. I was totally overwhelmed by all the people at the hospital for my daughter's birth. there was just way too many. this time I'm having just my husband and I.

Yeah I'm not having any visitors at the hospital for that very reason, I want to do lots of skin time and of course BF, so everyone will have to wait until we come home to see Sage. But my mom was there for both my other births and is a really calming presence for me. And she's SO helpful.

quite the opposite for my mom so I definitely don't want her there. my Mom stresses me out so bad.
