After bleeding almost 7wks pp, I didn't get my actual period until 10mo pp. You can bleed pp up to 8wks and its not considered a period, it's just after birth. Even if you'd stopped, you can start back up.

I completely stopped bleeding at 2 weeks pp, and now my belly is cramping like period cramps and I'm bleeding again. Pretty sure it's my actual period. @cookiemonster1216

Like I said, it could very easily still be pp bleeding and cramping. Your uterus is still trying to shrink back down to normal size at 3wks, hence the cramping. I basically got four "periods" in a row, heavy at the beginning of the week, then got lighter and then "stopped" by the end of the week. But then the next day after I'd start heavy again.

@britt16, I'm 3 weeks pp as well and mine will stop and then when I do alot or get angry it starts back cramping bleeding. and then will stop again.

This is the first time I started bleeding again since it completely stopped. It's not heavy but it's definitely there. @nicemmcha2015
