I'm buying my son a new one that stays in the car, he just turned 6 months on the 18th but he can support himself now so I can let him ride in the cart if we go places. He still fits in his infant one but I'm pregnant again and it's too hard for me to try to carry it lol.

Some babies can go up to a year in an infant car seat.. it is easier Cuz when they fall asleep you can just take them out with it and don't wake them up, while in a convertible seat well its more work, but my son moved to a convertible seat at 6 months,

You could always get a convertible car seat since they're good for 5lbs and up!

I've thought about it! I just love how easy hers is to get in and out of the car. If I get one much bigger I'm going to have to get a bigger car lol! @emkasting

Same here, our car is damn near too small for the infant car seat we have! We are definitely going to have to get a new car when the time comes to switch him to a convertible seat
