the nurse at the hospital told me that if my baby doesn't burp he needs to be in an upright position 30 - 60 minutes after eating then put him down...... well then.... there goes ALL my sleep. 😔😔😔😔 I'm so tired I could seriously cry right now... with all the naps I took today, I got around 4 hours of sleep...
first couple of months are tough 😔 But I always say this, it's just temporary momma, it won't last for ever, so I'd say you do that, instead of having to deal with a crying baby all night do to gas😞
@babynessa, our swing can't fit in our room.. there's no space for it at all...
Put the swing next to your bed. I had my daughter sleeping in a bouncer until she was 2 months because of her not burping. Trust me when I say it's so much better to have your baby sleep in his swing than you not getting any sleep.
@babynessa, we don't have a bouncer.. we have a swing but it's all the way on the other side of the house... and I don't want to sleep on the couch..
My doctor told me to place my daughter in a bouncer since it makes her sit upright. That's when she wouldn't burp. You could try it instead of staying up all night long.
I just saw this but sometimes for my daughter, I would lay her on my legs and then sit her up. and did it a couple of times and she would burp, if the normal way to get her to wasn't working.
