I started signing to my baby when she was under 10 min old lol She signed herself for the first time at around 8mo. She's now 2 and can sign more, candy, please, milk, food, all done, and thank you. It's never too early to start 😊 They really start picking it up and using it after 2, but early exposure is great! Signing to babies really helps their brains develop 😊 I'm lucky because I'm fluent in ASL so I can just teach her whatever comes up.
I started teaching my daughter around 6mos. She was signing more, all done, and milk by 9mos. She has Down syndrome so it allowed her to communicate with us WAY before she was "supposed" to. Great benefits!!
