I so agree. my mom told me that I probably shouldn't have another child bc of the things I go through with my pregnancies. I have HG and it was miserable. I'm finally catching somewhat of a break but food isn't the same. had to do the pump for awhile but I'm so over it I just stopped using it

I don't know what you're experiencing but I am sorry you have to go through it. I learned something new and I'll being doing some research.

@michelle2220, I lost almost 20% of my pre pregnancy weight. Have had 6 hospital visits and am now on constant IV fluids, medicine and nutrients through a PICC line in my arm. I also have low blood pressure and severe depression. Even with everything I'm still throwing up and not gaining very much weight.

@brenking, HG effects only 1% of women and it's something everyone should know about. It's so hard to go through.

omg that's crazy!!!! I must've had a mild case. but I think if I have another one I'll be with a picc. I had it with my first but didn't understand it and it was pretty mild compared to this pregnancy

@michelle2220, there are definitely different levels of severity, typically it gets worse with each pregnancy. Mine is rated as "extreme" and if I would get pregnant again my kidneys will probably fail.. So I've had my doctor and my specialist advise me to not have any more kids.. That's so hard to hear because I'm 20 years old

omg that's crazy and makes me scared and sad considering I only have one kidney and prone to kidney stones. I never realized what it was till this pregnancy. I hope that kids appreciate the things we do for them

well I thought for me it was severe but I guess not lol I had to do the Zofran pump for a month until I couldn't take it anymore it just hurts so I'll take the sickness when it comes back bc the pump hurt worse

Without the pump and PICC I would have literally died... The pain from the pump and daily IVs (before the PICC) was a terrible part of it but I had no choice. @michelle2220

well thank goodness we are having babies in times that these things are available. I was getting really sick losing a lot but the Dr helped when she ordered the pump. they tried iv fluids but that only lasted a day bc my vein blew out and I had to get poked 5 times which has never happened to me. but if I was as sick as you my mom would be so mad at me if I got pregnant again. how much longer do you have?

@michelle2220, yeah I'm so thankful for the medical advances that we have. I was the same way with the IVs it was sooo painful my veins would blow and everyday I would have to have a nurse come start a new one. It's was terrible. My parents agree that I shouldn't have any more... I have about 11 weeks left which is just torture!

It depends on how she's growing and how bad I am doing. If I can get my vomitting under control and she is still growing then they'll try to let me go naturally. If I keep throwing up and she's under stress then they'll induce me at 38 @michelle2220
