so I'm almost 36 weeks and my doctor doesn't want to see me again until 38 weeks... she also said I don't get a third ultrasound. yet everyone I know had always said that starting at 35 weeks they are supposed to see you every week until delivery. she also didn't check to see if I'm dialated.

I did the Group B Strep test today. they know she's head down.
That's odd, I'm 35 weeks and my weekly appointments start next week. I'm also being checked then for Group B streptococcus and on my 36 week I'm having an ultrasound to check the position and weight of the baby. Did you ask your Dr. why she's doing it like that?
im 34 weeks and im seen twice a week. i also get a quick ultra sound almost every visit now.
oh and ive already lost my mucus plug. im having an increase in discharge.
Nausea, back pain, contractions, cleaning all the time any of those signs??
They should be seeing you every week at this point but not necessarily check you. My dr doesn't start checking until 38-39 weeks. There's a risk for infections. Unless you're having contractions or other signs of early labor.

I just felt like it was super weird that she wants to wait a couple weeks...like I can deliver at any point lol
yes she should be seeing you every week, and my doctor told me he would be checking me every week but I know a few girls that there doctor doesn't check them so idk maybe not every doctor does it bit she should be seeing you every week, and as for ultrasound they haven't told me I was gonna get one so idk if your supposed to get anymore
I didn't get an ultrasound either but I did see them everyweek
