I wore a bra and a sports bra at the same time during the day, and then at night I would first take a steaming hot shower, let the water run over your breast for a while and massage them, then I would wear a sports bra, and put cold cabbage in the cups. It was painful the first few days but within a week and a half I was dried up. Nipple cream did wonders for the tenderness too!

It was the nurse that originally suggested the tight bra. And it is very uncomfortable, yes, even painful. Us women seem set for pain with every thing we do😉. But you'll be so busy getting the little one to switch to solids and milk, that the time will go by quicker than you think.

What about the part that when the breasts gets full how did you deal with the pain of not pumping the milk out?! Is that a risky way to do to your breasts/milk to be gone to tighten the brests with a bra ,,,,,OUCH @noxcharted

Breath! I can't tell you how to wean. I know with formula I had to mix half formula and half milk at first. I can tell you that you're going to need a TIGHT bra (I used a super small sports bra- 2 of them) and know that once you stop- you Can't Go Back.. Wear the bra every day and night.. It may take a week or two but you'll dry up. I tried to stop breastfeeding and then changed my mind, and got mastitis that turned into an abscess. Goodbye to the lower part of my beautiful breast. So. Tight bra and no going back😉😊👍🏻 good luck
