so my son is over a week old and i am able to give him a bath and all but not put lotion in him ..…

What happens when you do?

nothing ive put it on him once before and he was fine but when i took him to his first appointment they told me not to put any lotion on him. the hospital said the same thing but no one explained why. he is just peeling really bad @keepingupwithhenry

I would put a little on him anyway

my drs said to put some on my lil man... i dunno why they would tell you not to?

They say not to use lotion because either baby skin can be sensitive or you'll dry out the baby skin where they will need lotion or depend on lotion. But I also use lotion on my baby

i have burts bees lotion tjats unscented that should be okay i would think though @mookie1

You can use lotion on him just nothing scented they say

You can use lotion I just wouldn't go overboard or use it too often
