For me so far no . @jwalkn4 if ur close to going into labor on ur own it's suppose to speed it up . I had two sweeps and I've lost what I think was my mucus plus and I've had a lot of discharge but no contractions.

He wasn't expecting my cervix to be as anterior as it was so it hurt from that @tina4483 he told me to make sure I told the other OBs if they saw me so they didn't put me through unneeded discomfort when checking lol. Does sweeping actually seem to help?

@jwalkn4, yea mighta just been a little aggressive lol. My group b test didn't hurt at all. My first sweep only hurt a little tho and this last one hurt so bad. I always made her stop lol

Very random! Depends on the person for sure! @tina4483 I also had the group b test done today, which hurt worse then him checking my cervix, so I really think that's what did it!

I spotted the first time I got checked and a little blob came out but the doctor said it was normal

@jwalkn4, I think everyone is different . That time it lasted like all day. The other times I didn't spot at all. I also had two membrane sweeps. The first one I didn't spot at all until like 3 days later and this time I spotted the whole first day only lol. It's so random and weird

Okay good @tina4483 .. I just assumed it would be like the first or second trip to the bathroom and that's it so I wasn't sure.

@jwalkn4, I've only spotted after like one of my cervix checks and it stopped by the next day.

Oh it's definitely normal girl I wouldn't worry unless it becomes a lot. :) Just hasn't ever happened to me.

I've been told it's actually really common cause it irritates the cervix, so I'm not really worried, but I just wasn't sure how long it could/should last before I question it. It's not a lot, just when I wipe, but it's been every time I pee since I've been checked at 3 today.. @hannnahmack @bentleysmomma

I actually didn't spot at all any time I have had my cervix checked.
