The closer i get to my due date, the more I start feeling like something bad is going to happen and we won't be bringing our little girl home 😢😢 Maybe it's because not too long ago a family friend had her baby and he ended up stillborn...I know the statistics are like 1 in 4 pregnancies end up misscarriage/stillborn and I think six of my friends have had babies recently and then the one that ended up stillborn and I'm due next so it's like...😭😭 it freaks me out. It also doesn't help that I just can't imagine us being parents. I can't picture holding her or pushing her out or anything. And maybe it's because it's a new experience or because I don't know what she looks like, or maybe it's because something bad is going to happen 😕😕😕 I'm just worried.

Girl I worried about that my whole pregnancy! But after two weeks in the NICU I got to take baby home, finally! I felt the same way though, I looked around at all the baby stuff and freaked out that he wouldn't be able to use it!

I literally made a post exactly like this a few weeks before my due date, almost same words and everything! I just simply couldn't picture myself with a baby!

@emkasting that's exactly how I'm feeling. it's starting to irritate me because it's causing me to not even really be able to let myself get excited about her due date coming up in like two weeks...

I promise you I felt the exact same way, I'm sure you could scroll and find my post and see how similar it was to yours! I was terrified of still birth, especially cause I'd had such a wonderful pregnancy, I just had it in my head that something was going to go wrong. My labor was insanely long and I ended up with a c section, but my baby is now a month old and even now I get so happy that I get to see him in all the clothes I swore weren't gonna get worn. The second your baby is born and you hear her first cry you will feel such a wave of relief, it's insane. If you start feeling overwhelmed with your due date being right around the corner, message me! I know it helped me a lot having someone there to ease the worry a little bit

@emkasting he's already a month old? omg! I remember you posting and making the announcement that he was here 😱 I think I'm even more freaked out because we had a family friend end up having to deliver her baby stillborn at 39 weeks because the cord was wrapped around his neck, and my sister in law just had a miscarriage a couple of weeks ago 😕 I'm trying to just think happy thoughts but it really can be difficult.
