How can i sleep train my crawler that co-sleeps????
I always started with naps. Give them a bottle when nice and sleepy and try to keep them awake til they are done with the bottle or breast then lay them down and let them fall asleep in the crib. I also would take a blanket and either put breastmilk or stick it in my shirt to get my scent on it. Then lay it close enough so they can smell my scent (usually lay it above their head out of reach) and with my daughter I had a cool humidifier that was kinda loud for white noise that helped. My son liked one of those crib sound machines that project images on the ceiling and played songs... Just find what sooths your baby that isn't you. Once they where ok with naps I moved to nights
@karnamarie, we dont have a crib, thats why we co-sleep. he's a true fighter when it comes to sleeping. naps are hard when i try to lay him down when he's still awake.sometimes it works, like when im tired of him moving in my arms and wont get comfortable...at night i lay him down awake and we lay together,it take some time but he falls to sleep on his own....he goes to bed late, like 11 or 12.and he's still waking up 1-2 times at night.
