I go tomorrow I'm hoping to be at least 1-2 cm dilated. I'm 37 weeks so I hope I am lol

Contraction questions

I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.

How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't feel labor stuff lol

I been walking this week so hopefully Monday I've dilated some!

Are there any effective ways & things I can do to help soften and dilate my cervix faster? At my appointment my doctor said I was MAYBE a fingertip dilated and 60% effaced.

Dilation tells you nothing about when the baby will come.! And checking actually puts you at risk
