so I think I've got a problem she never use to take these things but since she has been having issues with her stomach she started taking them I don't want her to get attached I think when is too old hut they give her comfort any tips.

You're welcome! I didn't know either until the dr told me and when I thought about it, it makes since. We have 2 pacis in his crib that we leave there and keep the ones with the string downstairs. But all I can suggest Is only give to her at nap and in the car. My son used to use them all the time but im limiting time now to start getting him off of it. It's tough because it comforts him but they're such a hassle lol

oh I had no idea you had to takes those off thanks so much!! and Well she never liked them but all of the sudden she does and would rather take those then her bottles which is the problem @sonya15

I'm realllly not trying to be that girl but they suggest u take the strings off when they're asleep bc they wrap around their necks. Lol but she's so cute, my son had to have one bc he was early it helped him learn to suck/drink his bottles.

I was really against them also but then I talked to her pedi about it and she told me " it is much easier to take away a paci than her hands/ fingers".
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?
