so I'm thinking with this baby I'm just not going to breast feed.... Ino it's what's best but seriously...I'll have a recently turned 2 yr Old and single mom who NEEDS to finish school. I just don't see how it could be done....breastfeeding takes up your entire day. Smh if bd was more helpful I'd Def be down to try again but idk I'm trying not too have the added stress...its already going to be stressful enough. 😕😕😧
My oldest and second son are exactly 2 years apart I don't blame you it's a hard thing when you got another child you have to change feed and chase after my sons are now old enough breastfeeding been better this time with baby # 3 but my 2 sons were formula fed they are healthy smart happy boys
@youngmomofthree, don't make a bad name for other young mom's who AREN'T judgemental or calling names. I breastfed my first for 6 weeks and stopped because the birth control I was put on actually wasn't bf safe like my doctor claimed and it stopped my supply. but I had my baby a few weeks after turning 17 and breastfeeding wasn't "normal" at the time so I had no help. now I'm 5 months going strong with my 2nd, never supplemented, work and go to college full time. i have donated 500oz already, and I also pump regularly because I'm also supplying milk for my friends baby because she doesn't have the time or need the stress of breastfeeding. I'm feeding 2 babies, have a huge growing freezer stash and still donate my milk. the fact that I can do that while I'm so busy that I'm burnt out and can't clean my house is AMAZING. but I would NEVER wish this on another mom. it NOT for everyone. breastfeeding is in NO WAY easy. I wanna cry every day because I'm always working, dealing with kids, dealing with dogs, MISSING multiple assignments in school every week, NOT spending any time with my SO, my house is a wreck and I have absolutely no time to relax. @mdomke22 does not need that in her life. especially being a single mom. I was a single mom for 3 years, now I have an amazing man who helps me with every single thing I do. but I'm STILL burnt out with no hope of a break any time soon. so do NOT hate on another mom for not wanting to do this. you breastfed, good for you that's amazing. yes breast is best, but that doesn't mean formula is bad or selfish.
Holy that escalated quickly! I personally love breastfeeding my kids. It's what is best for me. Does that mean it's best for everyone else? No! Does that mean everyone else needs to do it? No! FED is best. Screw what she thinks, Mel. You do what's best for you and those beautiful babies of yours.
@mdomke22, I guess someone else stating their opinion made her mad 😂😂😂
Not everyone can mentally do it dude @youngmomofthree good for you you can do all that 👏🏻👏🏻 want a cookie? Stay tf off statuses if you are just gonna be a rude mf bye Felicia!! 👋🏻👋🏻✌🏻️
Hahaha yes my exact point right there. never said anything about your mothering skills but your mindset is still young. sooo you like to judge others and cuss others out. @youngmomofthree have a good day darling
@youngmomofthree that's awesome you were able to do that! but hey not everyone is capable of the same things. kinda a shame you would call me selfish about it even though you don't know me or my life at allllll but yea thanks for the words of advice I guess!
@10yearslater0205 yea I'm still just thinking about it.... might do it.... but in my busy life idk if it'll be possible. but it's not completely ruled out yet :)
Remember mama it's supply and demand .. My aunt only could feed am and pm and her baby got formula during the day.. She was a single mom going to shool and working 40hrs .. I say don't rule it out completly ur body will make enough of what ur baby needs ...
@youngmomofthree, it's good you can do that. I didn't have the mindset to keep exclusively pumping. I think i dealt with some pp depression which really affected my mind and made me not really commit to pumping like I should have.
@youngmomofthree, fed is best and I give kudos for people like you who have that mindset to keep going through hard times but not everyone (like me) have that mindset. She might just not want to hassle with it and enjoy time with her baby and two year old. ☺️
I did it at 17. and again at 19 after I had my second and did CNA classes while chasing my then one year old. then moved onto working right away. and plan on doing it with this baby too with a 3 & 2 yr old. as I start college in the fall and not due til November. my youngest I actually still nurse/pump for too.
@youngmomofthree, regardless of if they do or not, I really don't find it selfish. That baby isn't going to grow up hating them thinking they're selfish because they weren't breastfed. If the mother doesn't want to do it, she shouldn't have to and she shouldn't be looked at wrongly for doing so.
@mdomke22, don't feel bad. I could only breastfeed the first few months but it just didn't work out for me. Breastfeeding isn't for every mother and that's okay. Do what's easiest for you. That baby isn't gonna grow up hating you thinking your selfish just because you formula fed them instead of breastfed them. Only other judgmental people will say something but in the end it's up to you and they can go suck it.
the difference is you tried. so did a lot of other moms. how do you know its absolutely not gonna work if you don't bother trying and jump straight to formula?
@youngmomofthree, I really don't think you should call her selfish that kind of far fetched in my eyes. I tried pumping because my baby was preemie and couldn't latch well enough to breastfeed and it was so stressful I couldn't enjoy actually being a mom. Fed is best and you're insulting every mom that doesn't breastfeed and that's just wrong.
it can be done. I went through my senior year. while pumping. it isn't too difficult. I had her the very end of May and went to school in August. pumped every 2 hours. if you're fully capable of pumping and giving breastmilk, I find it selfish to not do it
even tho it may be best if u choose not to breast feed that doesnt make u a bad mom i think formula is just as good
And honestly that bottle warmer is not very convienant! Lol I breastfed at night but honestly it would be more work then you think. Can't make it too hot cuz then it has to sit for awhile and it's easy to make it too hot but y you can
It's crazy how different babies can be. My first was horrible. She was always connected to me, she'd never take a nuk and wanted to use me as a pacifier. But Macie is super duper easy and independent. :) I hope I get another one of those lol
Don't beat yourself up about it! You do what you have to do. And because Matt was up getting ready for work and this house is small so I'm awake and Patrick was stirring but now asleep again
Yea but the thing is im still going to take a class the semester she is born so I really won't have time at all to feed on demand especially when first born and they just feed CONSTANTLY. :/ I only made it two months with nylah. I really would but ugh I just don't see myself personally being able to do it. but I give you a round of applause girl! lol that is Def dedication right there! I think I'll try to borrow my sis Bottle warmer and have pre made bottles in the fridge for nighttime ;) @edomke if ya don't mind! lol but hopefully if this baby is like nylah won't need to feed every two hrs at night! but my luck this one will be opposite lol @babymaciesmomma
But! It's completely up to you mama. :) fed is best.
Eh, I had a 4 year old and a newborn and breast fed. Still do. It was easier for me, honestly. Didn't like the idea of getting up every two hours to drowsily make a bottle. Boob juice is pre-made pre-warmed and there and ready when you need it! :) and I'll be tandem nursing Macie and the new nugget. Lol
idk nylah was coughing woke me up now I can't sleep :/ why are you up??? lol @edomke
I'm afraid I'm unable to have children.. My boyfriend and I are trying, I just have a terrible gut instinct. :(

Well. Just started an IV. I'M GONNA HAVE A BABY!!!! EEEKK!!!
Well today I got the call saying I failed my glucose test. It was so high they aren't even having me come in for the 3hour test. My Dr. is having me go to a gestational diabetic specialist, and I have to take some classes. My nurse said I for sure have it.... I'm trying not to stress, but it's gonna be hard! I'll have to change my way of eating and all that. :( But I'm trying to stay positive, I just want Isaac to be healthy!! <3
I'm so nervous I have to go to the DMV tomorrow to take my written exam and im scared I won't pass it. I have court on Wednesday for not having a driver's license and I know the judge is going to get on my ass for not having my DL. I've just been so stressed out. After the written test when can I go for the driving test?
Apparently everyone in my family thinks I'm going to have a c section. 😔 stop ohkay? I have enough stress. I don't want to worry about that. I just want a natural birth. 😔
thanks so much for the support ladies! means alot! 😘😘 @lp1988727 @ab @crunchymomma @babymaciesmomma
