what do you mommies think about circumcision? im a ftm and i have no idea on what thats like. my husband and i have not decided due to not knowing much about it.
my son is and he's 3 weeks old and there is no problem what so ever no scaring nothing . its cleaner and less chance of infections. my fiance is and he wanted y son to be too.
It's something that is totally personal opinion. there's no medical reason to do it, as long as a man is clean he shouldn't have issues with not being circumcised. I chose to circumcise my boys even though my husband is not cut.
Sometimes the skin rips around it if it's not too! My hubby papaw had it happen during sex one time took all the skin off around it
ooooooh thank you all !! i appreciate it, but its not medically necessary to get him circumcised?
my oldest is circumsized and my youngest isn't. my oldest is because my mom said its what's best(I was young when I had him), and now it looks horrible. he asks why is it purple, and the scaring looks like burns. my youngest isn't because my husband isn't. and so far no problems. you have to do research on it before deciding but its actually not recommended by doctors, and its all myths about them being cleaner than boys who aren't. in fact their skin protects the tip. I'm having another son and I won't be getting him done either, I also believe it should be the fathers choice since they have a penis.
I read somewhere that if the dad is circumsized then it's best to get your boys circumsized as well. Can't remember why they said it, I'll try to find the article.
I agree. I think it is a parental preference. I am sure if you leave him uncircumsized, you will just go about a different cleansing routine. We circumsized both of our boys, our preference, and am glad we did.
I'm having a boy and I'm circumcised him. I know there's increased risk for UTI's in boys under a year old that aren't circumcised. I mainly just don't want him to look different. It's a common thing now a days. But you're the momma so you know what is best! Good luck! :)
its unnecessary my husband isnt circumcised and no infections hes perfectly fine, i didnt do it to my little one neither and even the docs at he hospital said its very unnecessary dont get why people say it "causes infections" it will if you dont clean it correctly of course but thats everyone we all have to learn to cleanse ourselves correctly regardless
