we are almost one year strong and jj is getting his first tooth. he tries to chew on my nipple 😦😥

@jjsmommyjj711, That's amazing! I did it for 4 weeks and there was just too much crying from both of us - he needs his mommy to be happy and stress free since I suffer from anxiety and depression. I still latch him on from time to time but now I'm bottle feeding breast milk all day and formula feeding at night/when I run out of breast milk. So far so good!

you do what you can ...jj latched pretty good to the point that lactation consultant was like is this your first lol . I was determined to do as much as I could and jj is now a comfort nurser and it's going to be super hard to wean him.

@jjsmommyjj711, my son was an incredible latcher too! He started to comfort nurse and that's when I gave him a pacifier

I didn't want to give jj a pacifier my sister would try to get me to give it to him but he didn't want it . I have given him bottles but that was before 3 months and now he's just a boobie boy lol

My husband and I didn't want to either but I couldn't be food and a pacifier that's too much for me, but he doesn't use it often lol
