Do doctor's prescribe anything for untouchable heartburn? Nothing is helping and even water is annoying it...if I blink…

if you are trying the one over the counter an have questions I would run the one you plan on getting by the pharmacist he or she can tell.you as well. my drs gave me a prescription for mine So I wouldn't have to pay for it. @mommyagain

@mommyagain, anytime. I hated the fact to take medicine but when it was so bad it make me throw up just out of the blue 3 or 4 times a day I knew just had to ask for help. it works. an the drs also told me that if the 75mg wasn't working they would up the mg. so far I'm good

I take 75mg every 12 hrs.@mommyagain, I think walmart cvs etc carry the over the counter

my Dr prescribed ranadine which is Zantac works well for me. mine was so bad I couldn't even bend my head down

No prescription. It's over the counter! you can take it twice a day. Also, drinking milk and tums! I have horrid heartburn but those are the only things that somewhat helped me
