Does the cervix check hurt worse the more you're dilated? Or does it only hurt worse if you're not dilated or effaced? I guess I'm confused because I got checked yesterday and it was uncomfortable but it really was not that bad at all... Some women say that it hurts extremely bad... So I'm wondering, if it hurt that bad, were you dilated or effaced when you got checked? I am 1 centimeter and 50% effaced.

Its uncomfortable...and I'd say it hurts more when the Dr or Nurse has short fingers 😂😂 They gotta push up in you more just to reach
so far it's just been uncomfortable but I'm only 1 cm
It depends on the woman and who is doing it. It never hurt for me, but it was uncomfortable.
no some women are more sensitive with my first it never hurt but with this second pregnancy I thought I was going to die when the checked me
Mine was a little uncomfortable, but never hurt extremely bad like some people say. I was only a finger tip dilated
