Has anyone successfully been induced with the first pessary? or did it take 2 lots?...or maybe you had to have your waters broken? I'll be 12 days overdue when i have to go in(tomorrow ) ...would really appreciate your advice ladies Thankyou x

Had the pessary at 2pm it started working straight away and gave birth at 9.36

Pessary didn't work at all for me so went back the next day to get the gel and it did the job! Bit everyone is different so you never know! Good luck xx

first pessary worked for me at 37 weeks.she put the pessary in and then wired me up to the monitor to keep an eye on how baby reacted. I had contractions before she even finished putting the monitor on!

i was induced with pessary hun... had pessary at 1pm had tightening s from 5pm waters broke at 2.30am had my little girl at 4.56am... however my sister had pessary at 10pm gave her contractions for 24 hours had 2nd pessary didnt progress so they broke waters. within 35 mins she had her son. every one is different xx
