I suggest if you're going to buy a doppler, you buy a Sonoline B. The other ones on the market really don't work too well.

I use the Sonoline B Pocket Fetal Doppler and it's really loud and easy to hear :) although it's hard to pick up on an accurate heartbeat rate, I usually just record it and count it for myself to be sure. I ordered mine off of eBay for $35 free shipping. You could always go to the direct website which is fetaldoppler.net

I have one... It's a very faint heartbeat sound... Another one may be better. I was a little disappointed in it
