How much crying is too much? My 4 yo daughter seems to cry any time we tell her no or ask her to do something she doesn't necessarily want to or anything that might be slightly contradictory from what she may have heard before. Is this normal?

Мама троих детей, ждёт четвёртого

Just keep your foot down, and have her still do what she doesn't want. Sooner or later it will stop, just be stern. My 5 year old use to do it, and so did my 3 and 2 year old. Now they know no is no.

Dd was hysterical when he left

Dd was hysterical when he left And it broke my heart. Her dad dropped her off tonight from his weekend and she wouldn't let go of him. He made no effort to help and I had no idea she was that strong. I had to peel her off him as she tried her best to hold on and she cried and screamed. He left and she just kept crying for him. Changed her diaper (he dropped her with it leaked through her pants) she was still crying for him. Tears streaming screaming DaDa over and over. I was crying too. I hate seeing her that upset. 5 - 10 min after he left when I was cuddling her and comforting her she finally stopped crying. It was probably 30 - 40 min after he dropped her off that she was finally normal and not clingy.
