I feel terrible because he lost 12 ounces in the hospital because he wasn't feeding well but now he's doing great. I want him to gain weight and be full

I feed until my baby isn't hungry anymore, usually 30-45 minutes at a time, and he is 6 weeks. they will get better at filling themselves up faster as they get older, they get better at emptying the boob faster.
