Doctor said I was 1 1/2 centimeters dialated this morning when she checked, and ever since she check I've felt crampy, just went to the bathroom and pieces of my mucous plug have started to come out, hope this means labor soon! Wishful thinking!

Thyroid ultrasound. I went in for my physical today and the dr checked my thyroid. She seemed off when she was checking it and checked it over and over. I have hypothyroid and I'm taking me my meds. I did mention I thought it was low but nothing much. Well she left the room and came. Ack in and said she wanted me to get a thyroid ultrasound as soon as possible because it was pretty enlarged. Has anyone had this done before? What do they look for?
Checked in at 4am february 1st.. started my pitocin drip at 5. I was 3cm dilated when i checked in. Things were progressing pretty slowly until my doctor broke my water at 7 am. I got my epidural done when i was 7 cm dilated, my nurse came in to check me and said baby was in plus 1 station. From there it went rather quickly, once my cervix was complete, she did practice pushes with me, i did 3 practice pushes with a few contractions and she said not to practice push anymore because baby was crowning already. She went and got my doctor, 2 real pushes later and baby was out ! I have 2 tears, 6 stitches, and ones a 2nd degree. We got released the next day ! So glad to be home but its very stressful that my daughter isnt adjusting well. Jeremiah wayne havis, born at 10:56 a.m. february 1st, weighing 6 pounds 1 ounce at birth, 19 1/2 inches long. When we checked out he was 5 pounds 14 ounces. Born at 38 weeks 6 days!
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!

I didn't lose any of mine this time. it finally came out after the doc broke my water. I had my membranes striped which started my contractions.

Yeah I figured I know you can loose it weeks before but I was hoping along with the cramping it starts something!
