mommies who gave birth while having a toddler was it hard being away from your little one? my son is a year and I know it will be hard on both of us espically since he's stayed home with me this first year. ugh I wish he could come with hubby and I to the hospital.
(Raises hand) been there! My oldest was a year when I had my youngest (c-section and a few days in the hospital). I was So Worried she'd feel abandoned. Sometimes I think we overthink their emotions because we are so used to Constant Emotions.. If that makes any sense.. Hm. Anyway, she was more than fine with her grandparents and yours will be as well. One year olds don't know much about the world so dramatic changes to us, aren't always the same for them. Ah. One is my favorite age. They are so accepting and learning and sweet.. Two.... Beware Two (years old).
ya I was going to have someone bring him up there. hubby and I discussed it and he said he will take our son to his moms feed him and put him to sleep so its easier on him
I believe you. my son is 4 and he knows exactly what's going on and he's attached to my hip so I worry how those few days will be. good thing is we live 10 min away from the hospital. & my mom is staying with him bc she says he will need her more than me lol I'm assuming our kids can be with us all of visiting hours right ?
thanks ya he has stayed with them before but call me crazy I swear he has gotten more attached the closer I get like he knows something's up lol I know he will be ok but my anxiety is bad@lucyyxoxo_
idk if you would want to but why don't you leave him with hi grandparents for a night or even til really late to see how it goes. that way they and you know what you can do to make it easier on him?
@amorette, @6215teenmom @sugey1210 Just try to remember it's only a day or 2. It'll pass faster than you think. :)
@amorette, @6215teenmom My oldest was 2 when I gave birth to my second. We had moved to the edge of TN to be closer to my ex's parents (which was too far from my family). He enjoyed his grandparents. Which was awesome. It was a little hard on me, but I just tried to remember that it was only for a short period and all would be good.
@amorette, I'm used to being with my daughter everyday all day & night. and me & her dad just split up so she with him tonight. so I guess she will have time to get used to it.
ya I was fine the whole pregnancy cause my mother in law offered to watch him but now that the time is near I'm worried he will think I left him or he will miss me and not be able to sleep its not his fault he has no idea whats going on. @6215teenmom
lol ok thank you@noxcharted
