There are 7 grown ups currently living at my parents house including my parents. The oldest is my sister and she's going to school and helps out with the groceries , I'm the youngest and I pay rent and a bill. The boys do NOTHING, never held a job longer than a year and ofcourse the one who hasn't done shit with his life, literally, hasn't even graduated high school, has the biggest room with AC. He's 24 years old and does nothing but play video games. I'm going to have two kids soon so I asked my dad for that room until I move back down to Colorado and he had to "ask my brother for permission" and ofcourse he threw a bitch fit and said no so there's nothing my dad can do about it. Umm aren't you the man of the house? He's so strict when it comes to me and my sister when we're literally the only ones who help out, it's pretty pathetic that the girls are the ones helping pull the weight. And my brother had the nerve to say "anyone can go to school and get paid, it's not hard so don't brag about your money cause anyone can pay rent" why the fuck don't you pay rent then? He doesn't even have his fucking diploma ? Poor fucking excuse of "men" My dad bitches about them not doing anything yet acts so stupid when it comes to confronting them. I need to move out, I'm not gonna be paying all this shit for nothing.

well I guess the best thing for now is for you to just ignore it since you probably won't be able to get the room anyways. no reason to fret over it. you'll be moving back to Colorado like you said but until then like you mentioned you need your moms help so just try not to get annoyed about the whole situation. no one seems like they are going to buckle. so think of it as just a little bit longer couple more months right? until you leave and then you won't have to deal with this stuff anymore.
That sucks girl, its way too much stress for a momma with going on 2 kids. It only makes sense that you have the biggest room since you pay the most. Your brother needs to move out, or suck it up, and be in the smaller room. I would think he would understand because he is an uncle now
The funny thing with my dad is he will use me being able to pay rent to kick me out cause I can "do for myself"He's done it before yet comes crying back because he needs help with the bills. My dad so weird. Situations where he should act like the man of the house he doesn't and little problems he gets all big and bad. My moms on my side but if my brother doesn't listen to my dad then he sure won't listen to my mom. @mamaash
If I were in your shoes, I would tell my parents that either we all figure out how to split rent fairly, including the boys or you will not pay anything. The worse they can do is yell at you, If they cant kick your brother who does nothing, I doubt they would do that to you. By making you pay rent they are holding u and your children back. How can you save up for them, if you are busy doing what your brothers should help with
wow that sucks! I'm sorry I definitely agree with what you say. also too bad your dad wasn't more stern when it comes to your brother leaving the room since you definitely need it way more than him.
School fees
Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. @mamaash, yeah I'm trying . I told my dad I'm not giving him the full amount I've been and I have kids to worry about too. He seemed upset but this is ridiculous, it's his own fault too .
