All I can keep thinking about is the needle and pain from the epidural , and I'm only 17 weeks but completely terrified…

It was a very strange feeling.. Like little bubbles popping almost. I can't really describe it, but it definitely wasn't pain. That was one of the things I was most terrified of, and it turned out to be nothing. But it was SOOOO worth it! Lol

I felt nothing and I've had 2 of them.. I felt the contractions and was in terrible doubled over crying pain from them but I felt nothing from the epidural . I felt amazing after it kicked in though:) lol

Some people feel it, some don't. I felt it and it sucked. It's not the worst thing in the world, but I won't lie to you and say "you won't even feel it!!!"

from my experience the contractions were so bad I was begging for my epidural, you only feel a small pinch then you go numb

The labor pains are way worst. You'll likely be distracted lol.

I'm terrified of needles and it didn't even bother me. the shot they give you to numb you first feels like a small pinch and then you just feel movement after that. no pain. then you go numb and feel great (:
