*****RANT****** I'm stuck in the hospital as Jazz has jaundice and is under lights. Her levels have been rising so now I'm having to supplement as well. None of which is helping my mood. Now the mother of my step-daughter's mother is trying to start crap about how my daughter has her father's last name when we aren't married. As if her and her daughter are the only ones entitled to his name. I could strangle her! If it was that big a deal, why only mention it now? Why when I'm stuck in the hospital, literally a day after Jaz was born? She's still his daughter, and he chose to give her his name even if I don't have it. I can take a lot of crap thrown at me, but I refuse to take any towards my daughter and I don't care who you are.

yes I'm a single mom and yes my daughter is going to have my last name I refuse to give my daughter the name of a BOY who doesnt want to take care of his responsibilities! ....problem ?
So I wanted to name my daughter Serenity & then my brother & parents called me after they had a whole house meeting saying the name “wouldn’t get her a job”.. now I’m back to square one 🙄

Its really none of her business what your daughters name is!! It is still his daughter and his and your choice what her name is.Some people just want to feel like they have a little control I guess. You don't need that right now, ignore her as best as you can.
